Sorry I haven't really added much here, been busy... Anyway, last week we got into small groups and read and shared ideas. My group read a lot, then did a few random prompts. My personal favourite was control. I'm not sure what this writing would be classified as, or if it's any good, but I kinda like it. Keep in mind that this is just a first draft:
"Why so glum?" the first said to the second. "Be happy; life is grand!"
"Oh?" the second replied. "What makes life so grand to you?"
"I have a job, a house, and a family of my own. I go to work all day, everyday. I spend my nights on the couch, tv flickering."
"But do these things make you happy?" the second one spoke again.
"They're supposed to," the first one sang.
"But that was not my question. What of war, and hate?"
"We're just helping those less fortunate, showing them the right way, and keep our of kind safe."
"But that was not my question. Are you truly happy, or are the martinet strings just telling you to be?"
